AI Nightmare! China is going to burst the US AI Bubble!
Summary
In this livestream recorded from a Changi Airport lounge before flying to the World AI Conference in Shanghai, the 1M65 host covers two stories he believes could rattle markets: the escalating Iran–US war and the launch of Moonshot AI's Kimi K3 model, which he argues could burst the US AI bubble. On the whole, his account tracks mainstream reporting remarkably closely for an off-the-cuff stream.
The core claims check out. US strikes did destroy a desalination plant's pumping station and transformer in southern Iran, cutting water to 20 villages; Iran did hit Kuwaiti water and power infrastructure in return; the US did reimpose its naval blockade of Iranian ports on July 14; Tehran did put up 'Blood for Blood' billboards showing the Trump family in coffins; and Iran's new supreme leader — Mojtaba Khamenei, whose father Ali Khamenei was killed in a February airstrike — did vow revenge in almost exactly the words quoted. On the AI side, Moonshot really did unveil Kimi K3 on July 16: a 2.8-trillion-parameter open-weight model that reportedly beats Claude Opus 4.8 and GPT 5.5 on several benchmarks while trailing only Claude Fable 5 and GPT 5.6, priced at exactly Claude Sonnet's $3/$15 per million tokens. The Nasdaq fell 1.4% and the S&P 500 fell 1% the day before the stream, with the Kimi release cited by financial media as a major driver alongside the Iran conflict.
The notable misses: the claim that Kimi K3 was trained on Huawei rather than Nvidia chips is not supported by Moonshot's own disclosures (which point to export-grade Nvidia silicon) and appears to conflate Kimi with DeepSeek's V4, which was trained on Huawei Ascend hardware. The dismissal of DeepSeek as 'nothing big deal' today understates its continued relevance, and the Israel and Iran population figures are loosely recalled (Israel passed 10 million in 2026, not 8 million). The oil-shock scenario names the Bab el-Mandeb strait when the chokepoint Iran actually controls — and the one at the center of this war — is the Strait of Hormuz.
Claims Analyzed (21)
Source Quality
The speaker reads from mainstream news coverage on his phone — he names Al Jazeera and 'the Western media' — and relays most headlines faithfully, but cites no primary sources. The video's strongest sections closely mirror wire-service reporting; its weakest claims (the Huawei chipset, DeepSeek's irrelevance, population figures) appear to be recalled from memory rather than read from a source, and he repeatedly hedges the central AI-bubble thesis with 'if this is true.' Market predictions — an AI stock collapse, oil at $120 — are speculation, not reporting.
Transcript
This article is an editorially reshaped version of a livestream recorded at Singapore Changi Airport on July 18, 2026, shortly before the speaker boarded a flight to Shanghai for the World AI Conference. Greetings, sound checks, and housekeeping have been removed; the substance and voice of the original are preserved.
Good evening, everybody. I'm coming to you from the lounge at Changi Airport — in about two hours I fly to Shanghai, where the World AI Conference is underway. Xi Jinping himself did the opening ceremony. I should have gone earlier, but today we ran two courses back to back: about 300 of you were at the AI class and another 40 at the CPF mastery session, so I've been sprinting from Bahru to Orchard Road and back all day.
Tonight there are two things you need to know about. One is the usual update on the Iran–US war, which is escalating seriously. The other is something happening in the AI world that I think is the bigger story: a Chinese model called Kimi K3 that might just burst the US AI bubble. If that happens, it will be a calamity for the stock market. Let me take them in order.
The War Has Moved to Infrastructure
The war between Iran and the US is escalating very seriously. Both sides are now striking each other's key infrastructure. For a long time the US resisted hitting bridges, water, and power. They don't care anymore.
By the way — before anyone says I only read Western news — I'm reading the Arab world's coverage through Al Jazeera alongside the American outlets. I try to stay balanced.
Here is where things stand after roughly a week of consecutive nightly US strikes. The Americans hit a desalination plant in southern Iran: a seawater pumping station and a power transformer, completely destroyed, depriving twenty villages of water. That is serious. And Iran is doing the same thing in return — striking Kuwait's water and energy infrastructure. Kuwait says one of its vital sites was attacked, causing several injuries and significant material losses, with oil and electricity infrastructure hit. Remember, it is over 40 degrees Celsius in Kuwait right now — about 110 Fahrenheit. Losing power and water in a Gulf summer is not an inconvenience; it is dangerous.
On top of that, the US is now enforcing its blockade of Iranian ports again, and Iran has outright said the ceasefire commitment is suspended — frankly, it has been suspended in practice for a while. There are deaths on both sides. Fighting has intensified, both sides are going after each other's infrastructure, and everybody is playing dirty. In war, nobody is clean.
The American press has noticed what this means. The headlines now say Trump is sliding into a forever war with Iran — exactly the kind of war he always said he wanted to avoid, the Iraq and Afghanistan kind. And yet here he is, in one of his own.
Who Benefits? Not Who You Think
Whenever a war like this happens, ask yourself: which country benefits the most?
It isn't China — they need the oil, and if this drags into a forever war, higher energy prices will hurt them, even though they have reserves and can endure for a long time. The answer is Israel. Israel is laughing all the way to the bank. Both the Iranians and the Americans walked right into the Israelis' game.
Think about the asymmetry. Israel is a small country — I said eight million people on the stream; it's actually crossed ten million now, still only modestly bigger than Singapore — and it took on Iran, a country of over ninety million, roughly ten times its size, and struck it hard with American help.
Blood for Blood
Now the war has turned personal, and honestly, it is disgusting to look at. In Tehran they have put up a billboard showing Donald Trump and his family in coffins — the burning White House in the background, Trump's five children, Ivanka, Don, Eric, Tiffany, and Barron, along with the First Lady, all laid out in flag-draped coffins. The slogan, in Persian: blood for blood. Another mural says it even more plainly: we will kill Trump.
This is no longer country versus country. It is now aimed at the US president personally. And last week Iran's supreme leader announced that revenge for his father's assassination "will most certainly be carried out." The perpetrators, he said, will take to their graves the unfulfilled wish of dying peacefully in their beds — and this revenge does not depend on his personal presence or that of any official.
Trump's response, in a nutshell: if Iran assassinates him, America will bomb Iran back to the stone ages. And ask yourself honestly — if your life and your family's lives were threatened like that, would you chicken out? No. I'm quite sure what Trump would do is bomb the daylights out of everybody. That is where we are.
Kimi K3: The Bigger Story
Now to the other news — and I think this one is actually bigger than the war.
China has a startup called Moonshot. (On my short video today I called it Moonstone — I said it wrongly. It's Moonshot.) They have unveiled a powerful AI model called Kimi K3, announced this week around the Shanghai AI conference — the very one I'm flying to right now.
Here is what makes it serious. Kimi K3 is said to rival every frontier model out there except the two very top ones: Anthropic's Claude Fable 5 and OpenAI's 5.6. And let's be frank about what that means. Most of us don't use Fable — it's too powerful and too expensive. We use Opus, or Sonnet. Think of Sonnet as driving in gear one and two, Opus as gear three and four. The world has escalated to Fable 5, but very few of us have any use for it. So a model that matches everything below the bleeding edge covers what most people actually use.
And Kimi K3 is open weight — its parameters will be available for anyone to download and customize. That means very low cost. Moonshot has priced its API at Anthropic Sonnet level, while claiming the model competes with systems that cost two, three, four times as much. In other words: the same processing capability at half, a third, maybe a quarter of the price.
Why can they do it so cheaply? The claim going around is that they're not using Nvidia chipsets but cheaper Chinese silicon — Huawei chips. I'll be honest with you: I'm just a user, I don't know the technology deeply, and this is the part I'd want verified. But if Chinese labs can really deliver frontier performance without Nvidia, you can see where this goes.
The DeepSeek Question
This looks exactly like the DeepSeek crisis. Remember last year, when DeepSeek came out? There was a big crash — the biggest single-day loss in market history. Then later people found out DeepSeek had been doing distillation — training off other companies' models — and the panic faded.
But this Kimi doesn't seem to be that kind of story. The reviews are genuinely good. All across the world right now, people are talking about Kimi K3. The headlines say Chinese AI has leveled up, that it has brought renewed focus on open-weight models, that a surprise AI breakthrough in China is wrestling with the market heavyweights. One of our own community members told me: "I used Kimi K3 before. It's better than Claude." That's quite serious.
Again — we don't know yet. We don't know whether K3 is as good as it says, whether there's distillation or some other unusual technology behind it. I keep saying: if it is true. But the market is already reacting. The NASDAQ fell about one and a half percent yesterday, and the S&P 500 fell one percent, largely on this news — layered on top of the US–Iran war.
What Happens If It's True
If Kimi K3 really is as good as claimed, you know what happens to all the AI stocks. They will collapse. For sure.
Think it through. If you can run the same level of AI sophistication on cheaper models and cheaper chips, why would you buy Nvidia chipsets, or Broadcom chipsets, at their prices? The Chinese chips are said to cost a fraction of Nvidia's. All the economics of these companies — the ones promising they'll make enormous money in the future — is not going to happen. The chipset companies would be devastated.
Now, when I say the AI bubble bursts, I don't mean AI is gone forever. That's not how bubbles work. The lousy ones drop off, the good ones recover, and yes, there would be a market crash along the way. People like me? There's nothing to do. I'm not going to sell. We watch, and we see.
Two Nightmare Scenarios
Let me lay out the nightmare scenarios side by side.
The first is the war scenario: the conflict escalates until Iran can no longer endure, and they close the shipping straits. Then oil prices shoot very high and the crisis starts all over again. People die, electricity goes out, water is cut — but I have to say something ugly about the stock market here. The stock market is a heartless monster. It cares about economics, not lives. A strait closure would move markets more than ten thousand deaths would. I'm not saying I'm like that. I'm saying the market is like that. Oil at 120 would be a disaster.
The second is the AI scenario: Kimi K3 turns out to be as good as everything except the very latest American models, at a fraction of the cost. For the stock market, that is even worse than the bombing and the oil spike. That is the one that bursts the bubble.
We won't know until next week. I'll be watching both.
Why I'm Flying to Shanghai
So that's why I'm on this plane. I want to see the AI world with my own eyes — where we actually are right now — and more importantly, whether there's a role for us to participate in this progress. Not with Kimi themselves; they're too big now and don't need a partner like us. But the smaller Chinese AI application companies — maybe we can work with them in Singapore and Malaysia. I'm bringing Mark, my AI co-trainer, who taught most of today's class and is frankly better at this than I am. We land, drop our bags, and go straight to the exhibition. My wife gave me a horrified look when I told her the schedule. Yes, we're doing it anyway. We cannot waste a single moment.
One practical tip before I go, for anyone traveling to China: if you want access to YouTube, ChatGPT, Claude, Zoom — all the US internet services — get a Singtel roaming pack before you fly. I used one with a big data bundle and it outperformed every VPN I've tried, because roaming traffic routes through Singapore and bypasses the Chinese system entirely. It lasted me a full week of heavy livestreaming.
The classes, by the way, are packed through September — there's a QR code in the stream for the new intake, and a basic AI literacy course is coming with the community centres in a month or two. Please go and learn. The longer you wait, the higher the wall gets.
I'll see everybody tomorrow — hopefully live from Shanghai, with my own eyes on Kimi K3. Bye-bye, guys.

A very good evening ladies and gentlemen and today I'm going to update you two very important things that happening. One is the usual update on the Iranian US war is now escalating seriously and the other one is something is happening to the AI world and I think the China AI development might just burst the US AI bubble and if that will happen then there'll be a calamity to the stock market. So everybody come in right now as I update you and I'm going to board the plane in a short while. So I want to give everybody a quick update uh right here from Changi airport. Thank you everybody for coming in. So Ching, good evening. EDC EDC I haven't seen you for 50 years. Where have you been? Work life balance. Your life not very balanced also. You haven't seen Mr. L for a long time. Okay. Epsilon, good to see you. Jason Sean Sean Net M. I also haven't seen you for a long time. Okay. Uh the
rest. Okay. Thanks for the thanks for the drink. Okay. Yeah. So, uh and and then uh Susan Wai, good to see you. ABC High School, good to see you. Richard, good to see you. LJ Bernard, Christine, good to see you. James, Jesse, Chiling, good to see you. Wood Green, Ivy, Joy, M Bomba, good you. Supang. Yes, I'm flying off. I'm in the lounge right now and in probably 2 hours I'm going to fly off ready. Yeah, empty street. Good to see you, Desmond. Ivan, thank you. Family Lee Polo, Nick, Leiao, good to see you. Kelly, good to see you also. Okay. Yes. Thank you. Thank you very much. Okay. Kelly, yes. and uh and Jim Rajes uh Ethan Anthony and Yongyong and Ken Ken. A very good evening to everybody. All
right. First of all, uh I just want to say is the is the sound quality and the video quality okay. Yeah. Uh actually today I didn't take Jins Singh. So uh it's probably spill over Jins Singh from yesterday. Yeah. So today I was so busy that I didn't have a chance to take Jins Singh. Okay. Yeah. So I'm going to to Shanghai and Shanghai has a world AI expo. Many world leaders are there and Cing Ping did the opening ceremony. I should have gone there earlier but I couldn't because uh we have got an today we got two courses. Today I like Thai like that. Uh I ran from one one lesson to another lesson from Balba to Orchard Road and then back. Yeah. So it's quite shong for me today. But you know what? Okay, that is live and I was very glad that everybody have a chance to to learn
uh about AI. I about 300 of you there and we also have another 40 of you there learn about uh CPF CPF mastery. Okay. And I'm very happy to hear. So yeah, there will be announcement in the air. Please forgive me. They are in a we're in a lounge right now. Okay. Thank you. We are new Clarence. Very good evening to you. Okay. So, let's quickly give an update of where things are. I'll first talk about the Middle East situation and then I'll talk about the the AI development. The Chinese developed a new AI model called Kim K3 and that is going to rock the AI world for sure. So I want to keep everybody update why this is a very serious matter. So let's uh let's start right now shall we? Okay. First yeah just to make sure that okay yeah uh okay B can you just uh text him? Can you
just text him and tell him to come in? Yeah. All right. Okay. I just want to I just want to make sure that the you go and pick it up because uh you got one more guest up. Okay. And Okay. I'm going to just make sure that everybody can hear me. Just give me a minute. All right. Let's start. Okay. Thank you. I bought probiotics and powerful phto. Have you tried it, Ken? Have you tried it already? The Have you tried the Have you tried it? Okay. Any Yeah. Okay. So it Have you Have you ship out already? So maybe some of you have gotten it and tried it already. Okay. All right. Let's quickly update everybody on the Middle East situation. Then later we can talk about some other uh some other stuff daily living stuff. Okay. All right. So first of all just let me quickly update everybody on the Iranian uh space. So right now the war
between Iran and US is escalating very seriously. Okay. Very seriously. They are now striking key infrastructure of each country. So US have resisted striking bridges, water power but now they don't care anymore. they just attack and whack and so the Iran so both sides are attacking each other actually more deadly than the last time you know so right now uh a seven con by the way I'm reading news from the Arab world by El Jazzer and also reading world in the US world so I'm quite balanced so before someone say I only read the western news no I'm not doing that so a seven consecutive night attack by US right now have Uh, the US attack a a desalination plant. And yeah, give me the microphone. There's a pack there. There's a pack there. I'm going to mount on the
microphone so that you all can hear me. Okay, give me a minute now guys. Okay, I'm going to put on the microphone so that everybody can hear me because there are too many disturbing announcement out there. So, please give me a minute. Okay. Okay, I got a very good DJ mic. DJI mic, but sometimes it doesn't work for some reason. Okay, give me a minute. I'm trying to see because there's a lot of interruption of announcement of flights, but this thing sometime on sometime don't on one. Oh man, this thing is not even on. Okay, wait. I'm trying to on it. All right. Okay, so give me just one minute. Okay. So I I just update first. So right now the US is attacking desalination plant of Iran. That's quite serious. So Iran is saying that a seawater pumping station and a power transformer, okay, is now being
completely destroyed, depriving 20 villages of water. That's quite serious. So, US is now actually not. Give me a minute, guys. I plug in my microphone and then I plug in my microphone here so that you can hear me loud and clear. Okay. Wait. I just want to make sure that you can hear me. Give me a minute, guys. Okay. And the microphone is right. Okay. Just checking sound check. Can you hear me loud and clear? Can you hear me now? You're supposed to hear me loud and clear right now. Okay. Yeah. I hope you can hear me loud and clear right now so that the announcement in the lounge don't disturb everybody. Really good to see you today. Okay. All right. Okay. So, uh I'm going now back to the Okay. Hear me loud and clear? Oh, good.
Okay. Very good. Okay. Let's go back to the to the whole thing. So I I ask for your forgiveness. Okay. So now US is attacking Iranian oil uh water infrastructure. But Iran is also doing the same thing. Iran is attacking Kuwait's water and energy water and energy infrastructure also. Okay. So both sides are playing dirty right now. So in war there is no in war there's no Yeah. Nobody is good now. Okay. Or bad. So, so both sides are So, now Kuwait is saying that a you attack you attack one of my vital sites causing se uh se several injuries and material material significant material losses. Okay. So oil and electricity infrastructure has been hit and this is quite serious
because in Kuwait right now it is 40 over degrees. Okay, is 110 Fahrenheit which is 40 over degrees right now. So it's quite sad and the US is now fully enforcing the blockade of Iranian ports. Okay, so now it's uh is big time. So it's it's all out war right now. Okay. So Iran has outright say that they are suspending the ceasefire commitment with US is long is long suspended what they're talking about. So right now okay Kuwait in Iran each reported attack on disselination plan. So there's no there's no peace right now. It's all war. Okay. And there are deaths and so on. So it's all bad. It's all bad. Okay. I don't see anything good. So this is quite interesting. Okay. Fighting intensify with strikes on critical infrastructure. Now they are all both
sides are going at each other infrastructure already. So it's playing dirty right now. Okay. And now the news in the US uh in the western world is saying that Trump is sliding into a forever war with Iran. That is exactly what he wanted to avoid. He wanted to avoid a war just like Iraq and Afghanistan. But he himself got into one of this war. Okay. You know who you know who benefits the most whenever when this kind of war happened. Everybody guess which country which country benefits the most. Which country benefit the most when Iran and US strike each other like that? Everybody, can you tell me? Okay. Yeah, there's one country that benefit tremendously. Okay. And I'll see who can guess it. So, right now they are all
attacking each other like crazy. And I suppose US got the money to fight, but Iran got the tan ability. China? I don't think so because they need the oil. Yes. Israel, guys. Israel. Israel is the one that benefited the most. Israel is benefiting the most. Okay. Yeah. So, it is China right now. They still got oil reserves. uh if this go on into a forever war then China may get hit economically by the higher energy prices but they can tan for a long time but the one that benefit tremendously is Israel. Okay. Yeah. Israel is the one that benefits tremendously. Israel is laughing to the bank right now. Yeah. Both the Iranians and the Americans fall right into the
fall right into the trick of the of the Israelis. So, Israelis are benefiting. Israeli is such a small country. It is just Israel is just slightly bigger than Singapore in population. Do you realize that? I think Israel have 8 million people. >> About 8 million people and they pick on a country called Iran which is 100 million people 10 times their size and they strike them so hard with the help of US. So they are I think they are just lucky. Okay, they're just lucky. So anyway, I don't really care about Geneva Convention right now. Now, this is where I want to show you something quite disgusting. Okay, so now Iran demands blood for blood in new billboard with Trump family in coffins. Actually, it's quite disgusting. Can you see this? So in Iran right now they are putting out pictures of Donald Trump in
a coffin, the wife in a coffin, Ivanka with daughter in coffin, all the sons and daughters in coffin. Can you see that? That's a banner. So they're saying that. Okay. Yeah. The banner which has a burning white house in the background featuring Trump's five children, Ivanka, Dawn, Eric, Tiffany, Baron, Trump, uh along with the first lady. They're all being put up right now in a coffin. Wow, that's quite serious, right? Okay, so we say blood for blood in Persian. H that's not very nice, right? Okay, so it basically says we will kill Trump. So they are making it personal right now. It's not just country versus country, but it is it is now versus US president. So that's quite serious, huh? So I'm quite sure now Donald Trump lives been threatened. Okay. And last week Iran's supreme leader announced that the revenge for his father assassination
will mostly will most certain be carried out. The perpetrators will not die peacefully in their bed. The revenge is the demand of our nation and will certainly be carried out. These criminals whose name are known from top to bottom will take to their graves. the unfulfilled wish of the dying peaceful in the bed. They should know that this does not depend on my personal presence or any officials. Wow. So this is quite serious. Of course, Donald Trump said if Iran assassinate him, bomb Iran back to stone ages. That's basically in a nutshell what he said. So when you threaten, uh, by the way guys, can you all hear me loud and clear? My microphone is on it. Uh, my my microphone is on. I'm sure you can still hear the surroundings. Uh, you know what I'm going to do? I'm
going to walk away. Uh, and then you see whether you can hear me. Okay. B, can you just say hi to everybody for me? Okay, I'm just going to walk away and see if everybody can hear me. >> Okay, you hold on. I'm just going to walk away. Okay, >> just wave everybody. They can't hear you. Testing. Can everybody still hear me? I'm just going to walk away here for a little while. Testing. Testing. One, two, three. I'm a few meters away, so I'm coming back right now. Okay. So, you can hear me throughout that'll be great. Okay. Yep. Peace. >> Now I'm clear. Sounds good. >> Now I'm clear. Okay. So I I walk about 5 m away. So So yeah, the sound is good. So this is a DJI. This is a DJI uh sound system. So it's supposed to be very good. Okay. Very good. Thank you. Okay. So let's now go back to to the to the news. And I think
I am very sure. Let me ask you if your life is being threatened and your family life is being threatened like that, what would you do to the to these guys? Would you chickenen out? No man. Okay. I'm very sure what Trump would do is to bomb the out of everybody. So which is what which is what uh everybody Yeah. Yeah. I mean this this thing uh is not complete sound proof. It doesn't reduce noise but it can pick up my voice I think as much as possible. Okay. All right. Okay. So this is happening right now. So let's take a look at uh the the other news shall we? Okay. The other news is a even bigger news. In fact I think the other news is much bigger than this one. So the news is this. So, China has a startup called Moonshot. I today in my short video, I call it Moon Moon Moonstone. I say wrongly.
Okay, it's Moonshot. They unveil a powerful AI model called Kim K3. Kim K3. You see Kim K3? Can Kimi K3 I'll just say it is said to be able to rival okay rival all the rivals except entropic entropic clot fable 5 and open AI 5.6 six but to be frank that means that it can no for those people are familiar with clot uh cloth most of us are using opus not fable fable is too powerful and expensive so we're using sonnet or fable and open AI we're using far below this number don't even need to reach this number so what I'm saying is this this guy is called kim K3 which is announced just yesterday in the Shanghai AI
expo which we are going right now. We're flying there right now and it basically says that they can rival that of US and is open weight. Open weight is another way of saying uh like is open source that means that it's parameters available for user to download and customize. So is very low cost. Okay. So it now basically say that the China AI right now can fight the US especially on price. So Moonshot right now the price of their Kim K3 is at entropic sonnet level. Sonnet is a very basic level for clot. I don't use sonnet anymore. I use opus is more sophisticated and and set. So think of sonnet as uh as running at you know when you drive gear one and two. So I'm using three and four right now which is gear three and four right now uh
which is opus and right now the world has escalated to uh fable five which to be frank many of us got very very few of us got a use for it and therefore now is very so what he's saying is that I can deliver the same processing capability at half or oneird the price or maybe even one quarter the price so why Why is they able to do that is because they are using cheaper chipset. They are much more efficient. Apparently they don't use the Nvidia chipset. They use a Huawei chipset. This look exactly like the Deep Seek the Deep Seek Crisis. Okay. D can you give me one of the candy? It's like the It's like last year when deep deepse came out there was a big crash. It's then later people found that actually
deep house one got some fake. So up to today deep nothing big deal. Okay. But this guy Kim doesn't seem to be that BSing. So all across the world right now they're all talking about Kimmy K3. Okay. So Kim K3 has stunned the US tech industry and I'll just say this it's all over the news. Can you say this? Chinese AI has leveled up brought renew focus on open weight model and then the the next deepse a surprise AI breakthrough in China is wrestling the market heavy weight. Now I just want to say because of this news and less Okay. And less because of And less because No, it's is a switch. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Unless because of
>> Unless because of um the US Iran war. The stock market right now has a serious rumbling. The NASDAQ went down by 1.5% yesterday largely because of this news and the S&P 500 went S&P 5 went down by 1%. Now at this juncture nobody knows whether this should be quite serious. Okay. Take take the call. Yeah. So, I'll just I'll just say this now. Someone uh Contrarian said, "I used Kim K3 before. It's better than CL." Wow, that's quite serious, right? Okay, that's quite serious. Wow. Kim K3 is good. Okay, so that's quite serious. So I just want to say that um if this is true, you know what will
happen to all the AI stocks? They will collapse for sure. They will collapse and I think the world is just coming to a just coming to terms and see whether this Kimmy K3 how serious it is. So I just want to say that >> if this is true, >> if this is true, then I think there's a chance that the AI bubble might might actually burst. This is more serious than Iran war. Okay. So anyway, that's um so this is more serious than Iran war. So I think we should we should just watch and see this place. Uh people like me, there's nothing to do. So, I'm not going to sell. No, this Okay, to be frank, Deep Seek was doing siphoning. What's the right word they use? I can't remember. They're doing siphoning. Okay, I don't
know whether I But Kim Tree is standing on his own and apparently he has got very good reviews. Okay, you ask Contrarian and you ask a few of the guys who are using it. How many of you have used a kim tree before? Okay, a distillation. Yes, I was thinking of the right word. Okay, distillation. So, they're using distillation, but this guy, I don't think they're using distillation. Again, I don't know much about this. I'm just a user. I don't know much about how the technology work. But if it is true, I say again, if it is true that Kim K3 is as good as what it says, then good luck to the AI world in US. I tell you all the chipset company will have a holocaust. Okay? Why is it so? It's because now you can use cheaper models to run the same level of AI
sophistication. Of course all the of course all the economics of all these companies who say that they will make a lot of money in future is not going to happen. It's going to collapse man. Now >> again we don't know until we know first of all Kim K3 is as good as what it say whether there's any distillation or any other unusual technology behind but if it is indeed as good at what it says then layo layout okay yeah then I think there will be a bursting of the AI bubble okay now when I say bursting of a bubble it doesn't mean that it's gone forever. No. Then then all the lousy ones will drop off and then the good ones will recover back and will there be a market crash for sure. Okay. But we don't know until it happens. Let's see. Okay. Yeah, the Chinese are really good.
So, I'm flying over to Shanghai right now. I'm flying over to Shanghai right now to see for my own eyes to see whether the AI world right now where are we right now and more importantly is there a role for me to participate in this AI AI progress. Okay. Okay. Anyone have any comments or question? Anyone have any comments or question? By the way, I just took this Manuka honey um Los Angeles. Manuka tastes bitter, man. Yuck. H Okay. Yi said, "I went to WIC last year. It was a real eye opener." Wow. Unfortunately, I'm only going to go there for two days. Yeah. So we'll fly a redeye flight there, sleep on the plane, touch down
straight away, go to the to the event. Okay. So I think it's a very >> Why my wife look at me like, "Are you going to do that?" Yes, we're going to do that. Touchdown, check hotel straight, go there. >> Oh, okay. >> My wife got this horrified look. My wife got this horrified look, right? I got this horrify. Ah, you're going to work me to death. Yes, we cannot waste a single moment. So, I got Mark with me. If you all know Mark, Mark is my AI uh AI co-raer in the AI course. Today, he he taught most of the course. Yeah. People say hi Mrs. Lou. >> Hello. >> Okay. Yeah. [clears throat] So, I think this is a true big year. I think the US Iran baiia because the Iranians and the US are
fighting unless the Okay, let me give you the let me give you the nightmare scenario. Okay, the war escalate until the Iranian Bahan canotan ready. Then they close the streets the the they close the bell mate. They close the bell mate streets that will be a disaster. Then oil prices will shoot very high and then the crisis will start all over again. That will be a nightmare scenario. They fight, they kill each other, people die, electricity blown off, water blown off, holocaust. I don't know how to say this. Nothing is happening in the stock market. Okay, that's not oil prices to go up. The oil the stock market is a heartless monster. He only cares about economics. He doesn't care about lives. Okay, I'm not saying I'm like that. I'm
just saying that the stock market is like that. But if the BL Mbet straits is closed, which is at the Red Sea, ah that is worse than having 10,000 people killed. Okay. Now on the other hand, this damn bitter. Okay. Anyway, on the other hand, if indeed Kim K3 model is going to be as good as all the entropic and open AI models except the latest one and they are at a fraction of the cost, well, then good luck. then that is even worse than people dying and bombing and oil price oil
price going to 120. Okay, that will be a that will be a disaster scenario. Okay, so we won't know until next week. So let's watch and see. I'll be watching the Middle East situation and the AI situation. I'll be personally going down to the Kimi the Kim K3 model to take a look myself. I'm going to be there exactly at the exhibition. Okay. And I can try it out myself and see. Okay. I'm going to give up this candy. It tastes terrible. >> It's good for your throat. >> It's good for my throat and tastes terrible. Okay. >> Yuck. Hey, by the way, my internet doesn't look very good. Is the internet bad guys? Okay, I just want to say okay, anyone have any comments? Okay, anyone any comments? Uh, I just want to make sure that everybody
Okay, I just want to make sure that everybody uh is alive with me. Okay. Oh, the internet is bad. Why I'm using Singtel internet? Sorry, guys. I don't know why it's 100. Okay. uh lagging. I'm sorry guys. I was wondering what happened. Okay, you all give me a minute. I don't know why single internet can be lagging. Okay, let me just take a look at that, guys. Give me a minute. Okay. Oh, it's so bad. We turn on uh my phone. My phone. Okay, guys. You all give me a minute now. It's uh lagging. Okay, give me a minute, guys. I will see what I can do uh to improve. Okay. Meanwhile, you all got any comments or question, please let me know. Okay. Yeah. I'll try to turn on the STEL network is uh wow.
Okay. Now, give me a minute guys. Okay. Anyone have any comments or question let me know. If not, uh, I'm trying to switch over to switch over to to another network. Okay, you give me a minute. Huh? This Singtel network is only 66 megabits per second. This is a big disappointment. Okay, I don't know why like that. Y give me a minute. I'm trying to switch over to to another network. This synctal network is uh strangely not working well here. Okay. And that's
okay. Can you hear me loud and clear now? Okay. Can you hear me loud and clear? Oh no, it died. Uh then can you hear me loud and clear? Yeah. Okay. All right. Sorry, I'm just changing network right now. Okay. I'm just changing network. All right. Very good. Okay. All right. So this is where I want to ask everybody um if frozen I'll switching network. I was switching network. Okay. I think the network is better right now. Yeah. I'm surprised. Self let me just give you a a hack. when you go to China and if you want to access YouTube uh chat GPT I don't know clot all the US internet zoom and all these subscribe to singtel
high cut singel high cut give you 80 gig in China for $30 okay 30 gig sorry 80 gig for $30 in China and I tried that. That's better than any VPN you can ever get. Okay, VPNs are are pretty bad. VPNs are trying to work around the Chinese system. But roaming is different. Roaming get you bypass all these. So buy a high cut for 80 gig whole family share and we were there for one week class. I do live stream like crazy. It lasted me for the entire one week plus. So I think it's very good. Okay. Yeah. So I give you all a I give youall a a hack already. Yeah. Okay. So far I think that works uh very good. Won't be get
that catastrophic. Chat GT entropic just have to drop price to ki level. Uh yes but uh yes it's not. So no the key thing is this. that if this is true that Kim tree can now produce this kind of processing capability at say half or oneird the cost of what the US models are doing then why you go and buy Nvidia chipset or you going to buy uh Broadcom chipset they are China chipset they are half the price of that of Nvidia where you can buy them yeah can you see Yeah. So, yes. So, Kimi K3 actually you can access. Yeah. But you want to be on the move. And by the way, those um international hotels sometime you work, sometime it don't work. Yeah. So, I feel very terrible when I there. Yeah. Because I want to go live. It doesn't. So, the
last time when I was in China, I could still go live except in the mountains. I was in Taiwa. then the the high mountains 3,000 uh 3,000 m above sea level that doesn't quite work otherwise when I was in most of the cities it work quite well okay h okay okay so my intention is to go to China and see whether there's any business opportunity for us to explore partnering the latest AI high applications uh not Kim Tree Kim Tree I don't think they want to partner us they're too big now the smaller guys okay and see whether we can work with them in Singapore and Malaysia okay that's what I trying to do so I'm bringing Mark along where's Mark okay yeah Mark along I'm bringing Mark along as well and uh and he's going he's the AI expert not I'm
not even half as good as him so uh he's going to help me ascertain whether we can uh do something. Okay, let me say this. How many of you were there today in the AI course? Say me me. How many of you were there in the AI course? Say me me. And I want you to tell everybody whether the clock AI course that you attended, was it an eyeopener for you? Okay. Was it good? Okay. If it's good, say yes. Good. Okay. We uh I Mark ran most of the class. I taught the last part. Okay. Thank you guys. You're all there. Okay. A few hundred of you all were there. Okay. We have uh Do you have a picture? Yeah, I think. Okay. We have got 300 two about 300 of you there. Okay. Yes. Thank you. Yeah. No, we have one today and one on
25th. Okay. Yeah. So, the 25th one. So, thank you. It was good, right? Yeah. So, please pick up AI is very easy to learn for for most of us. Good level up. Thank you. You see everybody do what you're doing, man. Don't waste this opportunity. Go and learn now. Our classes are packed all the way to September already. No more slot. Everybody is rushing to learn. Yeah. Please go and learn. I tell you. And in a short while, don't catch up. It goes higher and goes the longer you wait. Now, the longer I I'm really taking a lot of effort to coach everybody as quick as we can really. Okay. So see whether got any more seats. Uh
okay. We we do have a we do have a September class. You all can sign up if you want. Okay. A September class. You just uh scan this QR code as quick as possible. Okay. Scan this QR code. Oh my goodness. Why is the internet so bad? Oh man. Okay. scan this QR code. Alama, I can't scan this QR code like that. Okay, you know what? Uh, be tell you what, can you help me? Can you copy this thing? I'm going to send you and go to the live stream and paste it. Uh, I can paste it. Okay, that's Luma. I don't know why this syn works so bad. Unexpectedly. Yeah, basic one. Basic one. still talking to people's association and uh lifelong learning institute. It should be coming soon in one or two months. Okay. Sorry. What happened the
internet here? I didn't expect to be so badly strange. Okay. Yeah. Okay. So, so the basic one is like learning how to crawl or learn how to walk. No, it's a very I think everybody needs to learn that as quick as possible. Cannot wait really. You're way too late. You're way too late now. Okay. Anyone have any questions? Okay. Anyone have any questions? I'm in Singapore Aine. This is the lounge. I don't expect it to be bad. Okay. Yeah, I really don't expect it to be to be bad. Yeah. So, it's quite a shame. Uh, strange. It's not coming out. Okay. I think they're blocking you. Okay. Anyway, um All right. Okay. So, uh I'm going to
sign off right now and I will keep everybody updated. Okay. We'll keep everybody updated from Shanghai. Okay. So, I'll see you guys tomorrow. I'll try to record a video of what's happening there and I'll see whether in the night I can do a live stream. Okay. So, I'll see you guys uh tomorrow. Okay. All right. Thank you guys. Thank you guys. Okay. Okay. Bye-bye. Bye-bye. Bye-bye, guys. Bye-bye, guys. Bye-bye, guys. local.
